In Smolensk cathedral Novodevichiy Monastery in Moscow the service has passed to commemoration of the 465-anniversary of death passions the martyr requiem of Prince Ivan Ivanovich Kubensky, tsar – regent of Russia in 1544-1546, executed 21.07.1546 on false charge by Ivan IV Terrible.

Prince Ivan Ivanovich Grand Kubensky is buried together with mother, the wife, wife of the brother and the niece Princesses Kubenskaya’s in Cellar of Smolensk cathedral of Novodevichiy Monastery in Moscow.

On burial service there were heads of Grand-Ducal August House of Rurikovich and Fund of Princes Grand Prince Valeriy Viktorovich Grand Kubensky Rurikovich and Lightness Prince Jury Leonidovich Novikov Glinsky, and also the invited visitors.

Princes of Sacred Russia express the sincere gratitude of Moscow diocese ROC and personally to Metropolitan Krutitsky and Kolomensky Juvenaliy, to fathers Sergey and Dmitry for the organization of solemn service.
