Sovereign Emperor of Holy Russia Grand Prince Pr. Dr. Valeriy Viktorovich Kubarev and his entourage visited the Island of Corfu in Greece on September 18–25, 2019. Grand Prince Pr. Dr. Valeriy Viktorovich Kubarev took part in the opening ceremony of the Kairaba Mythos Palace Hotel, owned by the Rizos family. Grand Prince Pr. Dr. Valeriy Viktorovich Kubarev and his entourage visited Corfu, Greece on September 18–25, 2019. The program of the stay included a vacation at the Sea, excursions to the historical places of the Island and participation in the opening ceremony of the hotel Kairaba Mythos Palace at 22.09.2019. The hotel belongs to the Rizos family, owners of Group of hotels in Corfu. The hotel is designed in the style of Byzantine Palace with mosaics of ancient subjects, including images of the Emperors of the Palaiologos dynasty and Sophia Zoe Palaiologina. The opening event was attended by members of The Russian Imperial House of Rurikovich, Prince Francis Mathew Romanov, and the Rizos family, the Governor of the Ionian Islands, the press, TV and other important guests. Grand Prince Pr. Dr. Valeriy Viktorovich Kubarev Grand Kubensky Rurikovich made a speech in which he said that Sophia Palaiologina after the fall of Constantinople in 1453 was forced to flee with his father to the island of Corfu, where he lived for several years. From there they moved to Rome. Then Sophia was married to Ivan III and November 12, 1472 arrived in Moscow for the wedding ceremony. Sophia Palaiologina became a bridge connecting New Rome, Greece, Corfu and Russia. She put forward the idea of the paradigm of the Third Rome in Moscow. Sophia was happily married, gave birth to her husband 12 children, of which 4 children died in infancy. At the end of his speech, Grand Prince Pr. Dr. Valeriy Viktorovich Kubarev thanked the Rizos family for the invitation to the ceremony, the preservation of cultural and historical traditions of New Rome, as well as the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between Greece and Russia. Later, the Grand Prince announced the establishment of friendly relations with the island of Corfu and the nomination of Mr. Vladimir Rizos to the post of Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Holy Russia in Greece and Corfu.
